Are you coming to New York or Chicago for study?

I am wondering if anyone reading this, or someone they know,
is planning to study in Chicago or New York area next autumn?
If so, let me know. I have accumulated some useful information
for new arrivals. Let me know where are you coming from (unless
it is obvious from your email address) and which school you
will attend; if you are puzzling over specific questions, feel
free to list them. (Relax; this is not a pretext to sell you
anything!)

Right.  That’s why I asked for criteria that matter to me.
I’m not applying for admission (at least not until they clean
up their acts), so I don’t much care about it from that POV,
but it would be very interesting to see the differences and
similarities in these few criteria, while understanding that
they use more.  Of course, these are just the sorts of things
that they wouldn’t want published, any more than, e.g. doctors
would want their "batting averages" with patients published.
The AIR & kindred bureaubums do generate lots and lots of stats,
though.
