things happening at usc every minute, every day?

   but you are right that "you’re fighting a losing battle." Because

Just try to see if you can find one reason why there are so many non-whites at UCLA’s fraternities but not at usc???

I don’t. The men are the same at both schools, both schools are located
near by.

I can not find a reason why the student bodies are the same, and the
greek people are completely different???

I don’t see a particular reason for non-white Bruins to be very much
involved in the greek systems when all the non-whites at usc are
completly shut out.

It is not a reasonable reason to say most of the non-white students at
UCLA are all interested and all the non-white students at south central
is
not!

All of them are interested, the only difference is the ugly racism
existing in the entire greek system at usc — University of South
Central, Los
Angeles

You don’t rush people off the street, but it seems that usc does admit black people out of the neighbourhood.

And you don’t rush people off the street, what is the reason that you
don’t rush people off the classroom?

Don’t you see ASians, Hispanics and black students everywhere on campus?
It seems that you don’t try to rush those non-whites at
all?

IT is not just particularly TKE who has almost exclusively whites only,
it is the entier greek system at usc who have whites
only.

racial fraternities are self separated from the society, but as the
regular greek system, it is not the place to
discriminate!

UCLA’s fraternities have all kinds of people in the greek system, there
is just not a good reason to explain why at usc in the 1990′s, there is
still less than 1% of non-white students are in the greek
system!

That is something that you can NOT explain without mentioning the UGLY
RACISM!!!

Ray Elkins, you are a fool of your own. You would be out of luck if you want to be a fraternity man at usc, no particular reason, you will be ignored simply because you are a black man.

Can’t you see that TKE@usc only rushed TWO black men in the entire more
than 30 rushees? How low could that be?

You are so innocent to believe that RACISM does not exist any more. How
about OJ simpson? How about Rodney King? It all happened right here in
Los Angeles where a city you probably has never visited.

It is not particularly TKE who doesn’t rush non-white students, it is the
entire greek stysem at usc who do not accept non-white
rushees.

    In the last few months, at the usc fraternities, there were two
things
happened. They are both serious enough, yet they have been treated
COMPLETLY different!

    There was a member of 100 Black Men riding his bike, passing by Sigma
Alpha Epsilon fraternity house when someone said, "Take off that fucking
jacket, you fucking nigger" on Dec. 5th. Then again on Feb. 8th, he was
again riding by the house to campus when someone in the house yelled,
"Get
out of here, you nigger!"

     Although SAE member did apologize to the members of the black
organization, SAE was not given any kind of punishment or warning from
the
school at all. In another way, that is to say that usc does NOT care how
"nixxxxs" are being treated, meaning it is ok to call a innocent black
man
with such a degrading name. That is why RACISM is very strong at usc, and
that is why that black guy has been called a "nxxxx" for twice in two
months!

    There was also another guy in Beta Theta Pi fraternity who was
injured
on a wednesday night when he was struck in the head by a beer keg that
had
been thrown from a second story balcony of the house. And his name is
Erik
Larson. As most of people know that usc’s fraternites mostly have
caucasians only! From his name, one can assure that he is a caucasia as
well as other members at Beta.

     Now this time, the result is DRAMATICALLY DIFFERENT. Beta Theta Pi
has been placed on suspension for all activities except educational
activities and chapter meetings.
This fraternity is immediatly SUSPENDED simply because its own member was
hurt by other members in the fraternity. There is a reason for that,
according to usc internal codes which has one "an organization poses a
substantial threat to the safety or well-being of members of the
university community."

      Cynthia Cherrey, associate dean of Student Affairs said, "We ALWAYS
take accidents like this VERY seriously." Then she also said:" Our
primary
concern is for the well-being of EVERY member of THE fraternity. We’re
taking this very seriously."

     So now after you read this, don’t you think that this is too
ridicous?! The first one has more compact on that innocent black man than
the second caucasia fraternity guy who was hit by his own "brothers." And
for the first incident, wasn’t that also  "a substatial threat to the
safety or well-being of members of the univeristy community?"

     So why is that so important as the associate dean said the PRIMARY
concern is for the well-being of THE member of THE fraternity? They are
both human beings, and the first incident is more than just another
incident, it is a RACISM statement which has been praticed at usc for
many
years. Why is it so important to suspend the second fraternity for
hurting
its own member, why is it NOT so important not to suspend the first
fraternity SAE which seems to be more outrageous???

      So was one Martin L. King enough to change the black people’s
future
in this country???

Just wanted to you let all you people know that the recent articles
about TKE are false.  I believe these articles to have been written by
a guy who was not extended a bid to be a part of THE best fraternity.
*I am not saying that racism doesn’t exist…’cause it is everywhere.
I am speaking as black man who has had an opportunity to spend time at
the TKE house at USC, where I was treated like a brother…not a black
man on a white campus.

Keep up the good work Justin Woo, you guys are a class act!
