EARTHLINGS! INTERNATIONAL SAFETY ALERT!!!

                INTERNATIONAL AUTO SAFETY ALERT

A public safety announcement from the
                 Automobile Safety Foundation
                  A non-profit organization

                            WARNING
                        STEERING LOCKS!

The auto steering lock has been in use worldwide as an anti-theft
device for nearly twenty five-years. In the United States in the
1990′s, approximately two million vehicles are stolen annually,
proving steering locks are a failure. There are alternative anti-
theft devices in use such as the transmission lock (Rolls
Royce/SAAB 900) that are safe and much more effective.

                         THE DANGER
INADVERTENT LOCKUP

Drivers have not been warned or educated about steering lock
operation. There are six basic universal designs, five of which
employ a type of safety device to prevent the driver from what
the National Highway Safety Administration (NHTSA) has termed
"inadvertent lockup" while driving.

The NHTSA is on record for stating in the Federal Register,
April 5, 1988, that they continue to receive reports of "property
damage, serious injuries and fatalities" from inadvertent lockup
accidents.

The California DMV publishes the WARNING in their DRIVER HANDBOOK:
"NEVER TURN OFF THE IGNITION OF YOUR VEHICLE WHEN IT IS STILL IN
MOTION. THIS COULD CAUSE THE STEERING TO LOCK AND YOU WOULD LOOSE
CONTROL OF YOUR VEHICLE".

INADVERTENT LOCKUP CONTINUES TO HARM AND KILL WORLDWIDE.
ONLY EDUCATION AND WARNING WILL PREVENT THIS.

SUDDEN LOCKUP

The spring-loaded design of the steering lock is innately
hazardous and can malfunction or wear out causing the steering
to lock suddenly. Locksmiths and drivers worldwide have reported
a high incidence of sudden lockup that necessitated repairs or
caused accidents.

STEERING LOCKS POSE AN INTERNATIONAL SAFETY EMERGENCY.

Those seeking more information of this urgent issue can obtain
the following books:

STEERING LOCKS!   ISBN #0-9639964-8-7

MACHINATION       ISBN #0-9639964-7-9

Request your bookstore to order from Baker & Taylor.

                      HELP SAVE LIVES!

The Truth about steering locks has been kept Top Secret for over
twenty years, and curiously enough, no one keeps statistics of
the deaths and injuries.

ASF encourages you to voice your concerns with your government
and news media, and to relay this psa bulletin across the

I deleted it because it’s irrelevant. There’s nothing about ending
discrimination that requires "balancing demographic categories". So
any argument against ending discrimination that relies, as yours did,
upon the problem of "balancing demographic categories" is really an
argument about how to handle membership policies once discrimination
is ended.

>Point is that people DO NOT deal

Point is, you’re wrong. "Have not in my fraternity" is not "do not".
The two fraternities I’m a member of don’t discriminate on the basis
of gender, and not once has the issue of "affirmative action" to get
more members of the underrepresented gender arisen.

>>It’s not an excuse for discrimination, though.

>Went to your point that changing membership policies would have no impact on
>selection of brothers by other existing criteria, that there would be no

Since ending discrimination does not require quotas, you’re arguing a
completely different issue. Especially since I don’t even support quotas.

Heh, yup, as of last night, the Waiting Game has begun…

For me, law school apps seemed more difficult just because I never planned on
going to college, so I just applied to make my parents happy, I didn’t really
care if I got in or not. My attitude towards life has changed just a bit since
then, and I REALLY want to go to a good law school, so it was a lot more
stressful.

DUKE, RICE, YALE, PRINCETON, TULANE, ND, ARIZONA STUDENTS

If you attend any of the aforementioned Universities, please help me out and
e-mail me some quick thoughts about your decision to attend.

I have applied to all of the listed universities, and have already been
accepted at Notre Dame and Arizona’s Honors Program.  I want to know if
students are happy about their college choice.  Any input would be great.

I am interested in pre-medical studies (majoring in either biomedical
engineering or biology).  I believe I will be accepted (knock on wood) at all
of my choices and I will have a tough decision this spring.

Thanks in advance,
Drew Everhart

Re: "Armenian Church-SDPA"s foolish denial of the Muslim Holocaust

b…@oak.sain.org (aka Armenian Church-SDPA) continued:

>Because they are, and they are not ashamed to show it.

No wonder people would say *dumb as an Armenian*  That’s why x-Soviet
Armenian government must pay for their crime of genocide against 2.5
million Muslim people by admitting to the crime and making reparations
to the Azeris, Tartars, Turks and Kurds, Mr. "Armenian Church/SDPA".
Millions of Muslim people still demand justice for their lost ones.
Can’t the Muslim Holocaust apologists and historical revisionists
of ‘Armenian Church-SDPA’ see it?

BTW, when will the ex-Soviet Armenian Government respond to the
demands of millions of people who were exterminated by the Armenians,
Mr. _Armenian Church_?

John Dewey, _The Turkish Tragedy_ The New Republic, Volume 40,
             November 12, 1928, pp. 268-269.

_Armenians boasted of having raised an army of one hundred and
fifty thousand men to fight a civil war, and that they burned
at least a hundred Muslim villages and exterminated their
 population._

G. Hamelin, _Les Armees Francaises au Levant_ February 2, 1919,
             Vol. 1, p. 122.

_Armenians burned and destroyed many Muslim villages in their
advance and practically all Muslim villages in their retreat
 from Marash._

G. Bronsart, _Deutsche Allgemeine Zeitung_ July 24, 1921

_Since all the Moslems capable of bearing arms were in the
Muslim Army, it was easy to organize a terrible massacre by
the Armenians against defenseless people, because the Armenians
were not only attacking the sides and rear of the Eastern Army
paralyzed at the front by the Russians, but were attacking the
Moslem folk in the region as well._

Doc. Dr. Azmi Suslu, _Russian View on the Genocide Committed by
the Armenians Against the Muslims_ 1987,
                      pp. 45-53.

_The Russians, who have had considerable relations with the Armenians
hold a somewhat different opinion about the Armenians. The Armenians
are in fact a despicable community, without any significant value.
These people can only continue their survival by exploiting others.
Moreover, the Russian peasants have their own opinions about the
 Armenians.

The things I have heard and seen during the two months, until the
liberation of Erzurum by the Muslims, have revealed degenerate
characteristic of the Armenians. During the Russian occupation of
Erzurum, no Armenian was permitted to approach the city and its
 environs.

While the Commander of the First Army Corps, General Kaltiyin remained
in power, troops including Armenian enlisted men, were not sent to
the area. When the security measures were lifted, the Armenians began
to attack Erzurum and its surroundings and massacre Muslim people.
Following the attacks came the plundering of the houses in the city
and the villages and the murder of the owners of these houses. Murders
were widely committed by the soldiers. This massacre was mainly committed
by Armenian soldiers who had remained in the rear during the war._

_Lieutenant Medivani from the Russian Army described an incident that
he witnessed in Erzurum as follows: An Armenian had shot a Kurd. The
Kurd fell down but did not die. The Armenian attempted to force the
stick in his hand into the mouth of the dying Kurd. However, since
the Kurd had firmly closed his jaws in his agony, the Armenian failed
in his attempt. Having seen this, the Armenian ripped open the abdomen
of the Kurd, disembowelled him, and finally killed him by stamping
him with the iron heel of his boot.

Odishelidge himself told us that all the Muslims who could not escape
from the village of Ilica were killed. Their heads had been cut off by
axes. He also told us that he had seen thousands of murdered children.
Lieutenant Colonel Gryaznov, who passed through the village of Ilica,
three weeks after the massacre told us the following:

There were thousands of dead Muslim bodies hacked to pieces, on the
roads. Every Armenian who happened to pass through these roads, cursed
and spat on the corpses. In the courtyard of a mosque which was about
25×30 meter square, dead Muslim bodies were piled to a height of 140
centimeters. Among these corpses were Muslim men and women of every
age, children and old people. The women’s bodies had obvious marks of
rape. The genitals of many girls were filled with gun-powder._

_A few educated Armenian girls, who worked as telephone operators
for the Armenian troops were called by Lieutenant Colonel Gryaznov
to the courtyard of the mosque and he bitterly told them to be
proud of what the Armenians had done. To the lieutenant colonel’s
disgusted amazement, the Armenian girls started to laugh and giggle,
instead of being horrified. The lieutenant colonel had severely
reprimanded those girls for their indecent behaviour. When he told
the girls that the Armenians, including women, were generally more
licentious than even the wildest animals, and that their indecent
and shameful laughter was the most obvious evidence of their
inhumanity and barbarity, before a scene that appalled even veteran
soldiers, the Armenian girls finally remembered their sense of shame
and claimed they had laughed because they were nervous.

An Armenian contractor at the Alaca Communication zone command
narrated the following incident which took place on February 20:

The Armenians had nailed a Muslim women to the wall. They had cut
out the women’s heart and placed the heart on top of her head.
The great massacre in Erzurum began on February 7. The enlisted
Armenian men of the artillery division caught and stripped 6700
Muslim women. Then they took these people into the baths to satisfy
their lusts. 100 people among this group were able to save their
lives as the result of my decisive attempts. Among those who organized
this treacherous act was the envoy to the Armenian officers, Karagodaviev.
Today, some Muslims were murdered on the streets._

_Armenian Raid Leaves Azeris Dead or Fleeing_

"…about 1,000 of Khojaly’s 10,000 people were massacred by the
Armenian Army in Tuesdays attack. Azerbaijani television showed
truckloads of corpses being evacuated from the Khocaly area."

_The Independent_ 2/29/92

By Helen Womack

"Elif Kaban, a Reuter correspondent in Agdam, reported that after
a massacre on Wednesday, Azeris were burying scores of people who
died when Armenians overran the town of Khojaly, the second-biggest
Azeri settlement in the area. ‘The world is turning its back on
what’s happening here. We are dying and you are just watching,’
one mourner shouted at a group of journalists."

_Armenians Burn Azeri Village_

"Armenian Army attacked a strategic Azeri village…in Nagorno-Karabagh
and burned it to the ground on Tuesday, Commonwealth television reported.
Channel one television said the village of Malybeili, in the Khodzhalin
district, was now cut off and a large number of wounded were left stranded.
Itar-Tass news agency said several people were killed and 20 wounded in
the attack on the village… Tass also said shells fired from Armenian
villages into the Azeri populated town of Susha, just 6 miles south of
Stepenakert, demolished two houses and damaged five others."

_Massacre Reports Horrify Azerbaijan_

"Azeri officials who returned from the scene to this town about
nine miles away brought back three dead children, the backs of
their heads blown off…’Women and children had been scalped,’
said Assad Faradzev, an aide to Karabagh’s Azeri governor. Azeri
television showed pictures of one truckload of bodies brought to
the Azeri town of Agdam, some with their faces apparently scratched
with knives or their eyes gouged out."

_The Washington Post_ 3/3/92

_Killings Rife in Nagorno-Karabagh_

"Journalists in the area reported seeing dozens of corpses, including
some of the civilians, and Azerbaijani officials said Armenians began
shooting at them when they sought to recover the bodies."

_The Times (London)_ 3/3/92

_Bodies Mark Site of Karabagh Massacre_

"A local truce was enforced to allow the Azerbaijanis to collect
their dead and any refugees still hiding in the hills and forest.
All are the bodies of ordinary people, dressed in the poor, ugly
clorhing of workers…All the rest were civilians, including eight
women and three small children. Two groups, apparently families,
had fallen together, the children cradled in the women’s arms.
Several of them, including one small girl, had terrible head
injuries: only her face was left. Survivors have told how they
saw Armenians shooting them point blank as they lay on the ground."
